Missouri Constitution—Preamble
“We, the people of Missouri, with profound reverence for the Supreme Ruler of the Universe, and grateful for His goodness, do establish this Constitution for the better government of the state.”
“To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.”
“Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
Ecclesiastical Identity and Trust-Ownership Declaration: is identified by the Scriptural description, “the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven.” The private church trust of The Firstborn Church is declared the owner, holder and repository of the copyrighted and specially deposited materials, trust property, trade-name interests, trademark interests, original writings, images, recordings, prints, designs, archives and licensing rights specifically conveyed to it and identified by this notice, including the protected uppercase private-business trade name STEVEN THOMAS REDDISH© and its covered derivatives.
Steven Thomas Reddish©, the living man, serves as settlor, contributor, steward and authorized representative for the administration and protection of this church trust property. All permissions, licenses, fees, records and authorized commercial uses shall be administered for and on behalf of The Firstborn Church and its private church trust. “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”
“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
“I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”
“Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.”
“For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.”
“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.”
“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
“Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
Living Church-Temple Declaration: Steven Thomas Reddish© confesses that his living body is not a dead corporation, paper fiction or empty name, but a living temple of God and an embodied member of “the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven” (Hebrews 12:23). Having been bought with a price, he consecrates body, spirit, identity, labor and faithful creations to Jesus Christ as His purchased possession. The Spirit of Christ is invited to dwell within this living temple, quicken it, speak life through the words of Christ, and write God’s Ten Commandments upon the fleshy tables of the heart.
“But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”
“Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
“Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”
“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.”
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”
“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”
“That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”
“And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.”
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
Declaration of Indwelling Life and Light: Steven Thomas Reddish© acknowledges Jesus Christ as the One whose “name is called The Word of God,” the true Light and the last Adam made a quickening Spirit. The body purchased by Christ is consecrated as His living temple within the Church of the Firstborn written in heaven. The Spirit of truth—the Spirit of Christ—dwells within, quickens the mortal body, gives life through Christ’s declaration, “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life,” and writes the Ten Commandments of God upon the fleshy tables of the heart. Every faithful word, work, writing, design, invention and creation proceeding from that indwelling life is consecrated to Christ as fruit of His light and for His glory.
“Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”
“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.”
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
“It is the name the Lord has given us. It points out the truth that is to be the test of the churches.”
Declaration of Faith and Recognition: Steven Thomas Reddish©, the living man, recognizes the one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and the one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things. He receives the testimony of Jesus: “I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” He recognizes Jesus Christ as his Lord, Redeemer, purchaser and Elder Brother, and acknowledges that his living body is the temple of God and the dwelling place of the Spirit of Christ.
He confesses that the Father created all things through His Son; that Christ possessed glory with the Father before the world was; and that it was expedient, advantageous and better for His disciples that Christ return to the Father and send the Comforter. The risen Christ breathed upon His disciples and commanded, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost,” and God sends forth the Spirit of His Son into the hearts of His sons and daughters.
Steven Thomas Reddish© freely invites the Spirit of Christ to dwell within the living body Christ purchased. This living temple is consecrated to God as the repository of the Spirit of His Son. Through the Spirit of the living God, the law of God—including His Ten Commandments—is written upon the fleshy tables of the heart, establishing the new-covenant government of God within the mind, character and life.
He recognizes Christ’s authority by faith, love and obedience, receiving the command of Jesus: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” His body, life, labor, words, works, inventions, writings, designs and every creation proceeding from his hands are consecrated to Jesus Christ and claimed for His glory.
Two names—plainly distinguished and both claimed for Christ: STEVEN THOMAS REDDISH© is the uppercase copyrighted private-business and fictitious-entity trade name; Steven Thomas Reddish© is the proper-case name of the living man and authorized representative. The living man claims both names for Jesus Christ, acknowledges Christ’s authority over both, and withholds them from every unauthorized dominion, impersonation, exploitation, collateralization, securitization, monetization or commercial use.

The Firstborn Church stands upon its inherent religious character and the First Amendment’s protection of free religious exercise. The Internal Revenue Service states in its official church guidance and written determination that qualifying churches are automatically considered tax exempt and are not required to apply for or obtain an IRS determination letter. This inherent church standing is reflected in Internal Revenue Code §508(c)(1)(A), which states the statutory church application exception.
No application, determination letter or voluntary governmental creation is asserted as the source of the church’s existence, ministry, faith, worship, assembly, conscience or authority. The church’s spiritual existence is inherent; the Constitution protects its free exercise; and §508(c)(1)(A) recognizes the exception from the ordinary application requirement.

Federal law expressly recognizes churches, their integrated auxiliaries, and conventions or associations of churches as mandatory exceptions to the notification and application requirements described in subsections 508(a) and 508(b).

The Firstborn Church declares its ecclesiastical identity, ministry, worship, trust property and religious exercise under the authority of God and Jesus Christ. Section 508(c)(1)(A) is incorporated into this notice by reference as the federal statutory exception applicable to qualifying churches, their integrated auxiliaries, and conventions or associations of churches.

Declaration of Consecration: The heart, mind, voice, words, documents, autograph, signature, likeness, movement, labor and faithful expressions proceeding from the living body of Steven Thomas Reddish© are consecrated to Jesus Christ. His arms are dedicated to righteous labor; his hands to service; his legs to walking in the commandments of God; his voice to speaking the words of Christ; and his heart to receiving the law of God through the indwelling Spirit of Christ.
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
“Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”
“I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.”
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
The church of Christ is revealed in a commandment-keeping people possessing the faith of Jesus. Steven Thomas Reddish© dedicates his household and succeeding generations to this faith—sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters surrendered to Christ, quickened by His Spirit, walking in His commandments and bearing the living testimony of Jesus.
“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.”
“And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.”
October 22, 1844: By faith, God’s people followed Jesus Christ into the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary. There the law of God is revealed within the ark, the judgment proceeds before the Ancient of days, sins are confessed and forsaken, and a people are prepared for complete union with the Lamb.
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
The surrendered people of God become living stones in His spiritual house—polished jewels reflecting the character of Christ. The New Jerusalem is presented as the bride adorned for her Husband, and its foundations shine with precious stones bearing the names of the apostles of the Lamb.
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”
“And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”
“Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.… and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.”
From the Advent awakening culminating on October 22, 1844, God has been gathering and polishing living jewels—men and women who receive Present Truth, keep His commandments, possess the faith of Jesus and follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. Their testimony strikes the feet of the image in Daniel 2 and confronts the beastly powers exposed in Revelation 13. Christ’s everlasting kingdom shall consume every earthly kingdom and stand forever.
“And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias… to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
“And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
As John the Baptist prepared a people for Christ’s first appearing, the final commandment-keeping heralds prepare the way for His second coming. Jesus will return as Conqueror, King of kings and Lord of lords to redeem those who have surrendered themselves to Him, confessed and forsaken their sins, received His righteousness and welcomed the quickening Spirit of Christ into the living temple.
Steven Thomas Reddish© declares his desire to stand among that prepared people—body, mind, heart, voice and labor fully surrendered to Jesus Christ, the living Word of God.
